Ticks

You are here: Home / Latest News / Belmont / Ticks

We have already seen a few ticks’ cases in the practices.

The paralysis tick may be small but can be deadly to your furry friends.

Preventatives should be used all year round.

We recommend Bravecto for cats and dogs every 3 months or Nexgard for dogs every month.

Tick symptoms can include:

: wobbly/weakness in hind legs

: change in bark/meow.

: Difficulty breathing.

: Retching, coughing, or vomiting.

: loss of appetite

: Lethargy

: Collapsed

If your pets are showing any of these symptoms or you find a tick on your pet, please contact us immediately.
