Trouble Logging in or Registering with Petalia?

If you are having trouble logging in or registering with Petalia, it may be due to the settings in Norton's Internet Security Software

1. How To Check Norton's Internet Security - Privacy Settings

Privacy control helps protect your personal information, If you are having trouble logging on to Petalia, please check the following:

1. Launch Norton's Internet Security.
2. Check to see what your default settings are. If it is on medium, then slide the bar to low and try to log in or register again. Turning off privacy control has enabled other customers to log in.
3. Another setting to check in this section is Custom level, to check cookie blocking.
4. Check that you have none: Allow cookies recommended and check that both Enable Browser Privacy and Enable Secure Connections are ticked.

2. How to temporarily disable Norton's Internet Security - Personal Firewall

A Firewall places a protective barrier between the Internet and the confidential and personal information stored on your PC. Personal Firewall Plus helps block hackers and lets you digitally 'fingerprint' trusted applications, even gives you the ability to trace the apparent source of attacks.

We do not recommend you permanently disable your Personal Firewall. This should be a temporary solution for trying to register or log onto Petalia.

1. Double click on Norton's Internet Security Icon to launch the software.
2. Double click to open the Firewall window.
3. The first tab to check is the Personal Firewall. The default level will be set to medium or low, if your Personal Firewall is set to high move the slider bar to low and re-launch Petalia and try and log in again. If you still can't log on turn off your Firewall. If this fails see 'How To Check Norton's Internet Security - Privacy Settings'.
4. Make sure you enable your Personal Firewall back to ON after logging in.
