Veterinary Nurses at Belmont

Kellie - Vet Nurse / Receptionist

Kellie completed her enrolled Veterinary Nurse's Certificate and a Kennel and Cattery course at Kurri Kurri Tafe in 1997 and has been a valuable member of our staff for some years. She is also an accomplished groomer but at present is a full time nurse at Charlestown.

An accomplished surgical nurse, Kellie has always treated her patients with diligence and compassion.

Kellie with MollieShe is equally accomplished as a front desk receptionist and can’t do enough for her appreciative clients. Her cheerful nature and willingness to hop in and help with any task, especially the major 'spring cleans' that she regularly under takes has always been much appreciated.

Kellie has a much-loved Bull Mastiff cross called Mollie.

Julie - Vet Nurse / Receptionist

Julie grew up in Holmesville and is still there! From a young age it became evident that she had a natural affinity and love for animals with a menagerie of cat and dogs

In 1997 she completed her veterinary nursing enrolled certificate and a kennel and cattery course and has attended various courses and seminars in recent years.

Julie is a very experienced, knowledgeable and capable veterinary nurse/receptionist, always pleasant and helpful to our appreciative clientele, making her an invaluable member of our Belmont team.

Julie with Tinkerbell and LillieWhen not at work, Julie enjoys looking after her Four year old Son Jadet,four wheel driving, motorcycling, holidaying locally and overseas, movies and bush walking with the dogs.

Julie's pets include  Lillie, a Jack Russell; Tinkerbell and Poochie, Both Miniature Poodles;  and her Burmese cats Madaeus and Caesar. Shane, her husband, also shares Julie's love of animals.

Robyn - Vet Nurse / Receptionist

Robyn is a very much valued veterinary nurse and receptionist at our Belmont practice. She had worked in the retail industry before becoming a veterinary nurse and has a wealth of experience in dealing with clients and their needs.

Robyn is very much appreciated by our clients for her obliging nature and her great customer service. She is also caring and thorough with her four legged patients.

Robyn with RosieShe is married to husband Steve and has two sons, Zach and Kurt. The family pets are China, a British Blue cat, Rosie, a Pomeranian and the newest member Chachi a chihuahua.

Robyn's interests include the collecting of antique china, shopping, water skiing, socialising with friends, and the surf club.

Lisa - Vet Nurse / Receptionist

Lisa works part time at Belmont as a Veterinary nurse and receptionist.

She started her career as a veterinary nurse at the Mayfield Veterinary Hospital in 1988, where she worked for 10 years and after having 2 years off raising her two children, Jade and Karla, joined us at The Lake Veterinary Hospital in 2000.

Lisa came to us with a wealth of experience and fitted in very quickly. Her proficiency and thoroughness as a veterinary nurse and receptionist, and her pleasant manner, has made her a valuable member of our staff.

Lisa with her dogWhen Lisa is not working as a veterinary nurse she has her own personal development business called Your Soul Purpose. She is also a qualified hypnotherapist.

Her interests include animals (of course!), keeping fit, running her business and anything Feng Shui, running her two children everywhere, books, movies and camping.

Virginia - Vet Nurse / Receptionist

Virginia EvansVirginia joined us as a part time receptionist and nurse at our Belmont surgery in November 2008. She usually works the afternoon shifts.

Before joining the veterinary industry, Virginia spent 22 years in the police force. During that time she did a degree in Welfare, and was always passionate about animals. On leaving the police force, with a medical discharge following a car accident, she decided to pursue her interests in animals and completed her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in 2008. As part of her nursing course she did voluntary work experience at our Charlestown Animal Hospital.

Virginia owns numerous pets and enjoys breeding Netherland Dwarf Rabbits. She is married to husband Mark, and has 2 children. Her daughter is a passionate show jumper and her son wants to be a vet.
